For I Know the Plans I Have For You....

Jeremiah 29:11 happens to be a passage of scripture that is very dear to Alyssa Love, the bride of the breathtaking wedding held at McGill Rose Garden in Charlotte NC.  If you know the passage, it speaks of God knowing the plans for your life, plans for you to prosper and give you hope and a future.  On September 27, 2013, God had a plan to unite Alyssa Robinson and Reggie Love into Holy matrimony.  From our first planning meeting at an intimate little spot in Harrisburg NC, Alyssa knew exactly her vision for the wedding.  Her vision was unlike any other bride I had this year.  She wanted everything to be "different" and I was crazy in love with that!  Alyssa already has a creative gift making her the poster child for a real "DIY" bride.  Watching ideas become reality month over month made planning fun and exciting.  We were thrilled to have worked with Alyssa, Reggie and their families in creating a lovely celebration as they began their new life together. We wish Alyssa and Reggie a lifetime of love and peace and are happy to share some of the best moments of their wedding day below, thanks to Cynthia Ndelo of CNdelo Photography and Cinematography and Will Saunders of Freeverse Freelance Photography.

We told you she was a shoe lover.  So yes, there were more than one pair of shoes.  Alyssa wanted to walk down the aisle in her chucks and change into her 2nd pair of shoes right after her father gave her away.  Don't you love brides that are different!

No normal guest book for guest to sign, instead guest signed oversized Jenga blocks.  Now every time Alyssa and Reggie play this game, they are always reminded of the kind words from their friends and family.

Paper program?  No not this time.  The bride and groom had their program costumed made on an old vintage door.  A lovely touch to add to their new home together... #daretobedifferent

One of my favorite parts of the wedding.  There was a prayer of covering done by the minister and the parents of Alyssa and Reggie.  While there is always so much focus on the wedding, the most important part is actually the "marriage" and to have two sets of parents lay hands and pray for their children was definitely a special moment in the ceremony.

Interesting fact-every single bridesmaid and groomsman were from out of town.  Mainly from Jersey and New York.  As you can see, they were a fun group!
